Our great partners, Grace Fellowship in Brooklyn Park, made tie blankets for the elderly AND had some remaining, so what’s the first thing they thought of?
Our local homeless folks.
We have much to be grateful for at Thanksgiving, nevertheless all days of the year. We’re expressing our gratitude by distributing 125 personal care kits at our daily, morning breakfast held by 2.4 Ministries at The Salvation Army Harbor Light facility in Minneapolis. Bombas, the sock manufacturer, donated another 1,000 pairs of socks that we’ll provide over the course of this winter, and each kit has a pair.

Did you notice it was raining A LOT lately? How do you get out of the rain when you’re homeless? We lack a real great answer for this, but we did purchase and distribute A LOT of rain ponchos this past week in the various homeless communities we serve.
One of the things we LOVE is getting folks together to love on others through serving. T2NL acquired the components along with special thanks to Jellycat for providing the travel bags.
Each kits contained soap, shampoo, razors, lip balm, toothpaste and toothbrush, nail clipper, deodorant and an inspirational tract.
We packed 100+ kits that will be distributed to folks in the homeless community at shelters in Minneapolis this fall.
Our ministry collected, purchase and assembly 150 personal care kits given out at the Salvation Army Harbor Light facility in Minneapolis on Thanksgiving morning. This was during the breakfast that 2.4 Ministries serves – which they’ve done daily for the past nine years.
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” including packing! (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Our team came together for one evening to create an assembly line and put together 150 personal care kits that will be given out at the Salvation Army Harbor Light facility in Minneapolis on Thanksgiving morning.
We’re grateful this ministry has so many friends and supporters. When we have a need, it seems someone is willing to step up to the task!
