“George” had a past due rent problem and had arranged to have a relative pay for it while he was incarcerated for a few days. The payment arrangement fell through and he was going to be evicted if the rent was not paid within 10 days.

The landlord had a “cashier check only” payment policy which made it difficult for George. He was able to get a portion of the payment and Threshold to New Life submitted a cashier’s check for the balance. The landlord accepted a letter of guarantee and the eviction was avoided!
